What is the "Vanishing Hitchhikers"?
VH is a guild in World of Warcraft formed by Snopesters, for Snopesters and friends. It is an Alliance guild on a PvE server (Velen). It was formed in July 2007.
What are Snopesters?
Snopesters are members of the messageboard community on www.snopes.com.
What does "Vanishing Hitchhikers" mean, anyway?
It's a reference to an Urban Legend concerning a ghostly hitchhiker who disappears from the back seat of a car. For us it's a reference to our common interest in urban legends.
What kind of guild is this?
VH is an established guild with members of all levels, including a level 80 group that runs weekly heroics.
